ZMDI, a global semiconductor company, announces its participation in the 17th Session of the China International Industry Fair to be held November 3-7, 2015 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China
Dresden, Germany –2 November 2015– ZMD AG (ZMDI), an award-winning global semiconductor company headquartered in Dresden, Germany, and specializing in enabling energy-efficient solutions, today announces that it will partner with the AS-Interface China Association to exhibit at this year’s China International Industry Fair (CIIF). Now regarded as one of the largest manufacturing expositions in China, the CIIF will be held in the world famous National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), which is the largest exhibition complex worldwide. In 2014, the event was attended by over 141,000 visitors from 83 countries. It is widely regarded as one of the leading events of this kind in the world.
The theme for the event in 2015 is “innovation-driven, intelligently-transformed and cleanly developed,” and this focus on technological advancement coupled with environmental awareness rests at the very core of what ZMDI strives for. ZMDI offers superior solutions for power management, sensing, battery management, automotive ASICs and industrial ASSPs. An analog mixed-signal company, ZMDI designs solutions for automotive, industrial, medical, information technology and consumer applications. With over 50 years of industry leadership, ZMDI will be participating at this year’s event in partnership with the AS-Interface China Association and can be found at booth E120 in Hall 6.1
The AS-Interface China Association supports the AS-Interface (AS-I) standard for industrial networks, which is designed for easy connection of simple field devices, such as actuators, sensors and switches in factory automation. ZMDI offers advanced products in support of the AS-I standard, including the ASI4U and SAP5 low-level field bus interfaces, which enable transport of both power and data over the same two-wire unshielded cable.
“Earlier this year, China's State Council unveiled a national plan entitled “Made in China 2025," focusing on promoting manufacturing. The plan will span the whole manufacturing industry with one key concept “intelligent manufacturing,” stated Eddie Ho, Technical Sales Manager - ZMDI China. “ZMDI can help our customers to adapt and strengthen their product features to support the new national plan. CIIF 2015 is the region’s premier platform and an excellent stage to showcase our product portfolio and share the technical features of our ZMDI products.”
China International Industry Fair, or CIIF, is jointly organized by seven Chinese Ministries and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, co-organized by China Machinery Industry Federation and managed by Shanghai East Best & Lansheng International (Group) Co., Ltd. CIIF, a leading event on equipment manufacturing in China, is staged from the first Tuesday to Saturday in November annually in Shanghai. Since CIIF’s launch in 1999, CIIF has become one of the most influential international industry brand exhibitions in China through implementing “professionalization, marketization, internationalization and branding” as its strategies for over 16 years.
