Today, the Industry Sector of Siemens Ltd., China shows up at China International Industry Fair 2009 (CIIF 2009) with all its five businesses, including Industry Automation and Drive Technologies Division, Industry Solutions Division, Building Technologies Division, Mobility Division and Osram Lighting. Under the theme of "Creating Sustainable Value through Technological Leadership" and supported by three pillars "Productivity"," Efficiency" and "Flexibility", Siemens fully displays on the 300-square-metre booth its advanced products, systems and solutions in industry automation, building technologies, transportation and lighting. It demonstrates Siemens' enduring commitment to the China market by creating constant values to the industrial customers to achieve sustainable development of both parties.

As the world's leading provider in industry automation, Siemens Industry Automation and Drive Technologies Division (IA&DT) exhibits three new products at the fair. As a new PLC from Siemens with modular design and powerful integrated technologies, SIMATIC S7-1200 is specially designed for simple and high-precision automation applications with various requirements. SCALANCE XR-300 is a member of Siemens' latest industrial Ethernet switch series with better performance. SINAMICS G130, a new generation drives based on the unified design platform of the SINAMICS family, is ideal for high-power, high-performance and standalone driving applications. Committed to energy saving and environmental protection, IA&DT presents at CIIF 2009 a wide range of energy-saving products from drives, motion control products to power management technologies, for example, the WinCC/B-bata software which is recently introduced into the China market from Germany. Integrated safety solutions and products are also on the show.
Siemens Industry Solutions (IS) is the comprehensive system and solutions integrator for industry and infrastructure facility. In the four-day exhibition, IS presents the innovative and advanced solutions and products for metal, water treatment, pulp & paper and marine industries. Metals Technologies of IS presents SIMETALCIS RCB (Refining Combined Burner) technology, an innovative oxygen, gas and carbon injection technology that can shorten the tap-to-tap time by 10% and increase productivity by 6%. For water industry, IS showcases the integrated PACT® and WAR® systems, by which the clean-up of wastewater, sludge treatment, odor control can be achieved in a single synergistic treatment step. As market leader of pulp and paper industry, IS shows visitors its pioneering solutions— SIPAPER CIS, comprising of coordinated solution modules for all production and auxiliary over a plant's entire life cycle. In addition, for marine industry, the SISHIP CIS from IS represents the environmentally-friendly and highly efficient ship operation technology for commercial ships.
Siemens Building Technologies (BT) provides complete energy-saving solutions for the operation of a building over its whole life cycle, covering various aspects such as illumination, and air-conditioning systems. The Low-Voltage Business Unit, as part of BT, provides totally integrated solutions for power distribution in commercial, infrastructure, industrial and residential building markets. At CIIF 2009, Osram showcases a number of green lighting products. High Power Modular Lamp (HPML) is Osram's latest high power LED product, designed in rectangular shape with robust structure able to fit for different types of LED lighting fixtures. HPML is featured with 1000 lumen per module, long life up to 50,000 hours, integrated heat dissipation, and IP 66 rating.
